LIC AAO 2023 The Life Insurance Corporation of India has opened the online registration process for LIC AAO Recruitment 2023. Candidates who wish to apply for the Assistant Administrative Officers (Generalist) - 31st Batch can submit the online application form ont he official website at licindia.in
  The online application process for LIC AAO recruitment will remain active from January 15 to January 30, 2023. The preliminary exam will be conduct on Feb 17 and Feb 20, 2023. The Admit Card for the same will be released 7-10 days prior to the exam. Candidate shortlisted in the AAO Prelims will be called for the Main examination which is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on March 18, 2023.

Selection Procedure:

  • Selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three tiered process and subsequent Pre-recruitment Medical examination.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
  • Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

    1. ** English Language test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.

Phase-II : Main Examination
  • Main examination will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates will have to answer descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.

    1. ** Descriptive test of English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.
    2. "Descriptive paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who qualify in the objective part of main Examination” "
    3. The candidates are required to qualify for each of the Tests. Candidates will have to qualify for each of the objective tests.
    4. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
    5. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II) and marks obtained in the Interview.
Phase-III: Interview
  • Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for short listing for interview.
  • Marks obtained in Main examination plus marks obtained in interview will be considered for final merit listing.
Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination:
  • Shortlisted candidates in final merit list will have to undergo Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered appointment.

Salary (LIC AAO 2023)

  • Candidates selected will draw a Basic pay of Rs. 53600/- per month in the scale of Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090 and other allowances and perks as per rules. Total emoluments (inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance etc) wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs. 92870/- per month in ‘A’ Class city.
